Latin American motoring lifestyle brand Velociudad has today announced a ground-breaking multi-year partnership with Formula One rookie sensation Esteban Gutierrez which will see the 21-year-old Mexican become a Velociudad brand ambassador.

Velociudad has confirmed the collaboration with Gutierrez on the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix, the jewel in the crown of the Formula One season and the Mexican rookie’s sixth Grand Prix participation.

Gutierrez, the youngest of the rookie drivers, who impressed onlookers by leading the Spanish Grand Prix earlier this month, will help to promote Velociudad’s commitment to establishing a new race circuit, Speedcity, which is already under construction in Argentina, as well as being an ambassador for the overall Velociudad lifestyle brand internationally.

As part of the activation plan for the new partnership, Gutierrez will be writing exclusively for Velociudad’s online platforms about his life as a Formula One driver and his international travels. He will also be capturing images of some of the most impressive and unique road cars around the world as part of the promotion of South America’s newest race destination.

The Velociudad SpeedCity venue, located 80km outside of Buenos Aires in Zárate, will bring new excitement opportunity to the country’s motoring aficionados. The venue will feature national and international races with a flexible eight track layout and an off-road part that will permit road car, sports car, motorcycles and more. The circuit will be developed in compliance with FIA Grade 1 regulations with long-term aspirations to host a Formula One Grand Prix. The aim is for Velociudad to be the venue of choice for drivers of high performance cars and bikes in South America.

As the face of the future for South American motorsport, Esteban Gutierrez is the perfect fit for Velociudad, which will represent the pre-eminent motoring and motorsport lifestyle brand in Latin America.
