Racing Resorts around the World

Track Driving has become one of the most popular forms of extreme sports experiences, as everyone loves realizing the dream of driving at maximum speeds, cutting tight corners and tailgating at safe circuits. Many motorsport venues have been specifically built and redesigned to service the growing market segment of passionate performance drivers who seek a regular thrill on the track

Amongst the most recognized motorsport clubs is the Ascari Race Resort. Situated in the far north west of the province of Malaga, south of Spain, Ascari is considered among the top leisure/lifestyle racing destinations in the world. The picturesque Andalucian hills in the back-drop, Ascari is the longest track in Spain and considered by many amongst the most beautiful in Europe.

Appealing to both novice and professional drivers, the 5.4 kilometer circuit can be subdivided into smaller configurations. Ascari also offers a buggy track, a 4x4 track and a skid track for karting. Ascari’s car fleet offers a diverse selection of vehicles which include Lotus, BMW, Radical, and 2 seat formula cars. The service offer includes a 5 star cuisine restaurant, an elegant club house, and conference center, making for a delightful Spanish lifestyle experience for international speed enthusiasts.

Besides being the traditional venue for most major motorsport events (including the Formula 1 Grand Prix) as of late Silverstone has re-landscaped itself to “more than just a circuit”. The Silverstone Racing Club enjoys a rapidly growing membership of individuals who come to Silverstone not just to enjoy the superb racing but also to socialize and benefit from a great atmosphere. In addition to the race meetings, the SRC organizes various social events which are motorsport related and popular with members.

The club has its own, exclusive grandstand with superb views across the track and a very friendly clubhouse. Providing unlimited access to all motorsport events, the Silverstone Racing Club allows its members to become part of the legendary Home of British Motorsport.

Across the Atlantic, the Badlands Motorsport Club in Calgary, Canada is a family owned and environmentally conscious resort currently in construction with three road courses that can be combined in over six kilometers in length. BMR will provide a safe and enjoyable facility for passionate performance drivers along with an excellent venue for those seeking to improve driving skills. Key elements of this professional instruction will include high performance driving techniques, safe driving skills, accident avoidance, and adverse weather driving.

The resort will also provide the amenities of a country club, including non-automotive recreational facilities for families such as convenience stores, restaurants, day care facility, and souvenir shops. The residential units will be vacations style condominiums, allowing members to bring their families to enjoy the driving courses, the non-automotive recreational facilities, and the beautiful natural topography of the Rosebud River Valley and the Canadian badlands.

Velociudad Speedcity will be the first premiere motorsport resort in South America offering an eight track layout on a 4.7 kilometer FIA Grade 1 circuit, private members club, professional driving instruction service, premier hotel accommodation and spas, business center, day care, and high end retail. The Velociudad Club will become the new destination for car enthusiasts to have the ultimate driving experience combining excitement with unparalleled exclusivity and service.
